How to convert images to WebP

  1. Add one or more JPEG, PNG, or WebP images.
  2. WebP is already selected as the output format.
  3. Optionally adjust dimensions or a target file size.
  4. Process the images, review Before & After, then download each WebP file or a ZIP.

Formats and limits

Add up to 20 JPEG, PNG, or WebP images at once, with a maximum source file size of 20 MB each. Every converted result downloads as a WebP file.

What happens to transparent image areas?

WebP supports transparency. Transparent and partially transparent PNG or WebP areas remain transparent when converted to WebP.

Does WebP conversion change dimensions?

No. A normal conversion keeps the original width and height. Resize controls remain available only when you want different dimensions.

Will the WebP file be smaller or keep the same quality?

WebP uses lossy compression with the current best-quality setting, so it can change image detail and the result may be smaller or larger than the source. Use the optional target file-size controls when you need a maximum size, then review the result facts before downloading.

Can I convert multiple images to WebP?

Yes. Process a bounded batch sequentially, inspect each result, then download successful WebP files separately or together as a ZIP.

Resize images when dimensions are the primary requirement, convert to JPG when that format is required, or use the 100KB compressor for a specific maximum file size.
